Vintage 1976 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass

Rickenbacker Bass from 1976. It's well used,(obviously gigged with alot!) but everything works on it. Looks to be all original parts & electronics. We removed the truss-rod cover for inspection & it looks like the previous owner wasn't very good with tools as it appears kinda rough, but the nuts do move. * We DID NOT adjust the Truss Rods!!.l The relief is good.~ It has 2 missing saddle screws but the saddles stay still with string pressure. It has a big round black sticker on the back to cover up buckle rash. And there are some scratches and dings on the back of the neck. The factory mute material is still intact and adjusts as it should. Also looks like it had a pickup/bridge cover at one point of its life as holes were filled. Plays & sounds very nice! The only thing we did after acquiring this is new strings & some cleaning.  It is sold as-is. Comes with a new Protec Gig Bag.
